Life in the Day has a unique focus on social inclusion issues for people who use
mental health services. It profiles best practice in inclusive day care where
the aim is to ensure people enjoy fuller lives - finding jobs, learning new
skills, volunteering, or participating in arts, sports and leisure activities in
their local communities.
Many of the contributors are themselves users of (or former users of) mental health services and write from personal experience of the projects they describe.
