Jo is a freelance consultant in the fields of mental health, employment, and NGO and organisational development.

Recent contracts include:

  • an evaluation of a project supporting the development of social firms,
  • the development of a strategy for a new service employing people with disabilities
  • a number of literature reviews
  • researching and developing a grant making for an international foundation looking to support the development of social firms and social enterprise
  • managing a project developing a new school of social work education with the State University in Georgia
